Rosters

Why don’t I see my class rosters in Quaver?

Have you accessed Quaver via your Single Sign On portal yet? If your district has performed a rostering integration with Quaver, you must log in with SSO to activate your rosters. Once you come in through SSO and provision your account, you should see your rosters appear in Quaver automatically. If you don’t see your rosters at that point, please contact your district IT help desk for assistance.

I see last year’s classes and this year’s classes mixed together in Quaver. How do I get rid of the old classes?

It sounds like we may need to clean up your district’s roster data. Please contact our team at implementation@QuaverMusic.com for help.

My classes have students from last year and this year in them. How do I remove the old students from classes?

Why do my students QuaverNames look like unreadable strings, i.e. “sA82MKdkfl903KL”?

Students who come through SSO and auto-provision a Quaver account will get a random username automatically generated them. Don’t worry about it! Students should continue to come through their SSO portal, so they won’t ever need to know or use this crazy QuaverName!

Example student list with some quavernames and some blanks

Why do some students in my list have a QuaverName listed, while other students have a blank QuaverName?

When your district has a rostering integration with us, we create classes and rosters automatically based on data sent by your district. When we do this, we create students to populate your class rosters, but those students don’t have Quaver accounts (or QuaverNames) associated to them until a real student logs in through SSO. So the students in your list that do have QuaverNames are the students that have logged in through SSO and been linked to the rosters. The students in your list that do not have QuaverNames are students that have not yet logged in through SSO.
