Why Roster?

QuaverMusic.com is a standalone website that can be implemented without any outside data regarding teachers, students, or classes.  Even without any additional data, our website delivers an enormous range of multimedia content to the music teacher for use in the classroom. If Quaver receives information about student rosters from the district, teachers can also utilize a GradeBook, automatically-graded Assessments, and Student Interactives resources. If your district is not interested in using these additional features, there is really no need to import your roster data into the Quaver program. You can check out the detailed benefits of rostering below!

Quaver Gradebook

The grades that students earn on assignments and assessments are automatically stored in the teacher’s Quaver GradeBook, making it easier to regularly assess large music classes. Teachers can also look at detailed assessment performance across an entire class.

Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments

With rostering data implemented, teachers can easily create and give assignments to all of their music classes. Multiple choice assessments are completely customizable and are graded and entered automatically into the Quaver GradeBook. Teachers can also assign interactive game activities that are automatically scored. Finally, teachers can assign creative composition and theory activities, which the teacher can then review.

Student Interactives

Enrolling students in Quaver classes allows them access to all of QuaverMusic.com’s Student Interactives – digital interactive elements compatible with iPads and Chromebooks, available only to Quaver students.

In order for teachers to utilize these benefits, QuaverMusic.com must have knowledge of the teachers, the classes each teacher teaches, and the students enrolled in each class. Quaver currently supports four methods for roster data implementation.
